Default Rattlecans from HD
Anybody ever use the aerosol spray paint cans from HD?

I want to have my heat shields and LED Tour Pak light bezel painted Vivid Black to match the rest of the bike, and was thinking since they are not large parts that I could just use the rattlecans.

Powder man, no way a regular rattle can will hold up on your shields... also have you removed your cat from the pipes? if not your going to have a hard time finding any kind of paint/powder with a gloss that will hold up on them.

as jkr stated for your heatshields powder is the only way to go and while it might cost a bit more over the rattle cans its durability and quality makes it well worth the investment

Sorry. Not the heat shields on my exhaust, the mid frame heat deflectors under the seat.

Don't know, but I have the part numbers for Vivid Black and clear coat.
