Default Paintless Dent Repair on Tank?

Is it possible to use those paintless dent repair guys on a tank? I've got a couple minor depressions in the tank. Would be nice if I could get them pushed out and not have to spend a fortune..

Probably an urban myth and not worth mentioning but I have heard you can fill a tank up with water, put it in the freezer and the dents will pop out. Anyone know for sure?

I'd be careful and remove the fuel pump and screen assy.

Thanks. Huntington Beach isn't far away from me either--might be a place to check out. Looks like the tank needs to be removed, which makes sense. I'm not sure how to remove the metal screen that is right under the gas cap though (only has a small hole that the nozzle of the gas pump goes through)--I would imagine you'd need to get that out to get those tools in there. I always thought it was integral to the tank...

we do dent repair but we do it though metal work... being that we use powder we can not use any body filler so it has to be perfect! i have tried the water and freezer trick and on old *** honda tanks that are single walled i have had it work, never on HD stuff

I suggest that you talk to dent removal guys. If it can be done, a good PDR guy will do it. Maybe go through the petcock hole?

As an alternative, there's the hot glue dent removal systems, but that's a long shot.

Best bet might just be an adhesive badge or sticker as mentioned above. For more info, check out this <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->https://glexotools.com/
