burnt clutch?

Default burnt clutch?

Hi, had a friend with 15 SGS ,he had to much to drink and put it on burn out pit the last time it wont move,i imagine burnt clutch,how do you tell,will friction plates be smooth, or anything else it could be,thanks

It doesn't move at all? Is the belt broke? Any noise?

you mean the big one on rear wheel?

Nope. The drive pully at the tranny. If the clutch was burnt you couldnt get it into gear and if you started in first it wouldnt release.

so tear it apart to make sure ,he was just going to replace clutch but have to take clutch hub off to make sure?

If he's going that far I'd do the inner primary bearing and take a look at the drive pulley.

thats the only way to tell too take inner primary off?

Nope. Start it in gear. If the belt doesnt turn either the splines in the pully or the clutch are fried.
