Default Primary chaincase cover: balancer/damper: torque spec

Does anyone know the torque spec for the part circled in the attached photo?
Service manual does not reference this information.
Thanks

I recently bought a 22 SGS and have yet to have to get into the Primary. What is the purpose of that damper?

It is an inertial damper, it moves out of sync of the vibration of the cover, this can reduce vibration or change the frequency of the vibration to keep the component from vibrating at it`s critical frequency.

Hey, my Airframe and Powerplant schooling finally paid off...

Is the hose 23 the primary vent to the transmission rather then thru the hollow input shaft in the old design of the TC motors?

Does the M8 transmission vent serves the purpose of venting the primary and transmission?

Hose #23 is just the primary vent hose. The tranny has it's own separate little vent hose attached to the cover.
