Default Easy shift bracket

I know many are available but I bought this one from EBay for $25. Will report back on function. For $25 I can justify it. it looks and feel like it’s well made and sturdy, the finish is nice. It’s going on my Tri Glide.

Look forward to a review. Maybe a couple pics of the installation would be nice too.

I did too, as a test. If it was remarkable, I was going to spring for the expensive one, but don't really see a reason to do that at this point. I've been running it for a few thousand miles and although it works fine, I don't feel like it made ALL that much difference in the big scheme of things. Maybe I'll take it off and see if there is any real difference noticed then. But like you said, 12-15 bucks for a test ain't bad.......

Why not drill a hole on the forward shift lever down about 3/4 of an inch?

So you can put it back to stock if you decide you want to without having to buy a new shift lever for $55? But I guess you could drill a few extra holes and just say it's for weight reduction, lol......

Has anyone ever tried to modify the actual handlebar clutch lever pivot point [ cable pivot point ] . I have do a mod to every cable operated clutch lever bike I have had [ non-HD ] with fantastic results.
I have never looked into a mod on my HD - but think I will take a look and see if it is feasible. It is just a pivot point of the cable end change. I know the HD lever / cable is a different style than standard bikes, but it still might be an option to lighten pull by the pivot point. Anyone try it ?
