Default Clutch Noise and adjustment Question.

I have a 2012 Road Glide Custom with 2300 miles on it and have a question about the clutch. I recently had the 1000 mile service done and the tech said he adjusted the clutch but I am noticing that the lever has tons of slack in it and doesn't return completely when released and there is some noise coming from the primary when the lever is not pulled in but stops when I pull the lever in. Is this noise something that can be resolved by properly setting slack in the cable or should I check pushrod adjustment and then set cable slack? Thanks for any help.

What is tons of slack? There should be about 1/8 inch of free play.

No if they adjusted the rod then you just do the cable it will only be a 1/2 a turn a most
