Default Overfilled Transmission

I installed a reduced pull clutch kit a couple weeks ago. Today I noticed my 02 RK was leaving oil spots. I recalled thinking I added to much Formula+ to the tranny after having the clutch cover off. I checked the fluid and yes it was still over the top line by about 1/2 inch. I have now suctioned out enough to get it to the line. Is it possible that it will not drip and all is good now? Is that 1/2 inch (maybe 3-4 oz.) enough to blow out the vent?

I, too did that once.....ONCE. Blew out the vent all over my rear tire. I have a 5 speed with an Arlin Ness cover that doesn't have a dipstick. The book says 21 - 23 oz. so I usually fill it about 21oz. due to residual.

If you don't have a manual, call your local dealer and ask for either parts, or service. That's how I found out before I bought a manual. Good luck.
