Hi guys. First of all, I'm pretty new to this forum so I might as well introduce myself. My name is Bill and I'm currently living inFlorida. Been riding since I was 10 and got my first Harley when I was 19 (Sportster 1200 Custom). I kinda strayed away when the Marine Corps refused to ship my bike when I was sent to Quantico and stupidly bought a sportbike. I fixed that a couple weeks ago when I traded in my sport bike for a 2008 Street Bob in vivid black. Unfortunately, this review will not have pics for some time because on Saturday a cager slammed on their brakes in front of me while riding through Fort Walton and I ended up hitting the back of his car. My new toy is now at the Harley shop waiting on Progressive and the mech to figure out what its going to cost. Thank God both my girlfriend and I are only bruised up. As far as the bike it looks like its just the front forks that bent under but we still need to figure out if the frame is bent. Ok... on to the review.


First of all, I bought the 08 street bob because I loved how clean and classic it looked. Then I remembered about my girlfriend and that I would need a second seat. I bought the stock passenger pillion from Harley and it worked well but she still wanted a sissy bar. I began searching and found the Haulen *** backrest. Customer service with this company is top notch. Email were answered promptly and professionally and they even emailed me pdf files of the install so I could see what exactly I was looking at. To top it off I ordered it through their ebay auction Tuesday night and asked if I could get it sent out the next day so I might have a chance of getting to me before the previously mentioned Saturday ride. Not only did they ship it Wednesday, they upgraded me to2nd day air no charge and I actually had it Thursday night. Again, I can not say enough about their customer service.

Install was simple with everything included. Simply lift off your seat, lay down the soft protective pad, line up the bracket and secure with the bolt and washer. Your passenger seat screw holds in the rear and the pad is affixed to the bracket. All in all it took longer to open the box and find my tools than to install it. My girlfriend loved it for the most part. Her only complaint was that it seemed low and leaned back a little. I expected that from the pictures and actually that was whyI bought it tostick with the clean look of the bike and also be able to remove it quickly. She did say it made her feel much more secure in the seat and made her more relaxed while riding. All in all, if you are looking for a nice qd sissy seat that doesn't require installation of all the Harley QD hardware and will look sleek on your bike, this product is worth checking out.
