Thumbs up Kendon Lift VS Direct Lift

I have had my Direct lift for about 2 months now and felt compelled to write this. I have owned a Kendon trailer and it served me well so when Kendon came out with a lift, portable and stand up like the trailer….I’m in. Well the portability was great, the stand up was also great but loading a full size Dresser or any Harley on the Kendon is not only a chore but just scary. Heres what bothered me with the Kendon. The Kendon ramp I believe is 8 inches wide and while I am confident pushing my bike in a straight line, pushing it in a straight line, up the ramp and into the wheel chock was not for me. I was even more hesitant when it came to getting it off the lift. I used it a couple of times and sold it on Craigs list. I then was reading Thunder Press and I saw an ad for Direct Lift, a full size motorcycle lift for $645.00. That’s how much I paid for the Kendon and here is a full size lift with tire vise included! I looked where they were located and luckily there was one local to the house so there was no delivery charge, I just picked it up on will-call. The lift so you know comes 90% assembled, the only things you have to do is un-crate it and attach the air hose to the ram along with the foot pedal and you’re set to go. That’s my take on it…just thought I would share with my fellow riders.
