I like riding a couple hundred miles from home regularly and just finding a place to crash on the ground but trying to just look around a random town for a campground is tedious and annoying so I'm looking for the most generally agreed-upon book of camp grounds throughout the US, or other opinions on how the pro's typically do it.
Recently found an app titled USFS and BLM Campgrounds in App Store. Would imagine Android has a version, too. Looks promising, but no doubt more useful to riders in the West.
I use this app "Oh, Ranger! Park Finder" It's easy to use and you can narrow your search by selecting things to do such as camping, bicycling, bird watching, history, hiking, off road vehicles, etc. has good reviews too.
