No. Seems like it can be hit or miss as in the post above yours where the poster crossed often and then suddenly there was a problem. Seems I read there's a process one can go through to overcome convictions. Best contact the Canadian Consulate for reliable details.

My dad and I are planning a July ride from Ohio, North through Michigan over the Mackinac bridge, East / South through Ontario to Niagara, then back home. I wanted to get some input on my itinerary:
Planning on doing this in 4 days. Day 1 and 2 will be tent camping in State parks. Day 3 is to a hotel near Niagara, then finally home. We have done local tent camping adventures, so gear shouldn't be an issue.
I live in NE Ohio, my pops in Dayton - we plan on meeting in Toledo and want to get a good part of Michigan done the first day. Anyone have experience with the state parks in central Michigan? We are looking at Higgins Lake or Hartwick Pines. This is ~400 mile day.
From there we want to ride over the Mackinac Bridge and head east toward Sudbury. Here's were I really need some help. I've been to Toronto a few years ago, but that's my Canadian experience... Which Canadian provincial park is "the best" on my route? Currently looking at Kilarney (but appears to be off the beaten path), Grundy Lake, or French River. This too is a ~400 mile day.
Day three to Hotel in Niagara Falls, then back to Ohio.
Any input on parks, or changes to the route? Im coming up with approximately 1300 miles, is this too much for 4 days? Any issues traveling in Canada around the 4th of July? (yes I realize the 4th is a US holiday)
On your way down from Sudbury take the 400 , if you ride a electra glide with a beer box take the toll road 407 ,no charge because the camera cant read your plate .You can ride this road all the way to Burlington /Hamilton.If you dont want to ride the 407 stay North east of Toronto and work your way down to Niagara .In Niagara Falls try a place called the Copa Cabana ,a Brazilian steak house ,we park our bikes out front on the section between the road and walkway way closes to the rear parking entrance when we ride there. But if your chose to cab it.... everything is in walking distance there , even the view of the Falls
Got the plans finalized:
Day 1 from NE Ohio to Otsego Lake State Park MI - 420 mi
Day 2 - Otsego Lake to Grundy Lake Prov. Park - 363
Day 3: Grundy to Niagara - 263
Day 4: Home - 260
Cant Wait! This is by far the longest trip I've ever gone on. The reason for this ride is my work will be relocating me later on this year, I have to sell my house, and ill be getting married in may. Big changes this year, I thought it would be fun to spend some time around the Great Lakes.
