I am coming from the South while staying in Savanna the night before. Last fall I stayed in RedWing and the bar there by the Super 8 was a nice place, but was not much fun. Looking maybe to try a different town and Hastings was not much further north so thats why I am looking into this for a Saturday night. The next day I will be going home back to Northwest Iowa. So if people know Hastings will not be fun than maybe somewhere to the southwest of here would be better. I was also looking at the Hastings Inn that was just north of a grill and bar that sounded like it could be fun

Yes I have been through Hudson before. I like main street along the river. That is starting to get a little far north for me. I look at it being more of a ritzy town maybe?

If you are up here on a Friday night try and get to Neuman's in North St Paul, lots of old hot rods and motorcycles on the street. Just google Neuman's for address. They close the street down and it's pretty cool!

I'd Say Prescott too. The Noname Bar is on Main Street. You would be more happy there than in Hastings. Noname

I am one of the people that runs the History Cruzers in North St Paul. We have a huge car show every Friday Night from the first Friday in June till the 3rd Friday in September. Over 1,200 1975 and older cars, thousands of people and all the state fair food you can consume along with 2 live bands.

My Daughter lived in Hastings for 5 years, some of the Cops in the area call it the Meth Lab Capitol of Minnesota.

Sounds like a fun time in St. Paul for the Cruzers night. Well I will just be planning on one night so I don't look into getting into the Meth stuff. From the way it sounds it would not be a great place to stay overnight and enjoy the night
