I'm heading up to Colorado Sept 3rd. Going to stop by my sister's in NM on the 3rd and head to Colorado on the 4th. If there is anyone off and looking to ride I would love to meet and make some new friends. Plan right now is to ride all over Colorado.
Would be happy to meet up with you, but we are headed to Washington on the 30th.
For your information, there is a motorcycle rally in Ignacio/Durango, Colorado over labor day weekend. It's not as good as it used to be, but it might be something you would want to check out.
Same plan as you, ride all over. We will start in Colorado Springs and work up to aspen then probably head down to Durango and meander back east from there. You going to be in the general area of that? We plan to head home the 9th
Pretty much the same areas. Going to ride 70 both ways I know. Probably hit Durango. Pretty much all over west of Denver. Even thought about trying to make it up to Yellowstone. I've seen the eastern part of Colorado and to me it was not that impressive.

I live in Nebraska so I'm stuck riding in that **** there and back.
If you get the chance ride up Mt. Evans just west of Denver. It's the highest paved road in the United States, higher then Pikes Peak! It's not far off of I-70. I rode it about a month ago and it's a great ride. They say on a clear day you can see 75% of Colorado from the summit, I don't know if I buy that but it is worth the trip!
