Wind therapy.
A bit cool, with dark clouds to the west this morning. We opted to make this ride an overnighter, and headed home.
Casey's are usually a good place for a pit stop.
We stopped at the Buffalo Bill Museum in LeClair Iowa. It was worth the 5 bucks.
She got hangry, so we stopped at this little bar and grill, in Cordova Illinois. It warmed up into the lower 80's.
Just a few miles shy of yesterday's ride. Tomorrow we will decide what we are going to do next. The weather will play a role in that decision.
I have a few trips planned for August/SeptemberHeaded into Iowa.
Rode Snake Alley, in Burlington.
It's steep and very twisty. Its a slow ride.
Snake Alley is a blast! I knew about it and surprised my wife with it once when we were coming back north from somewhere. She said she wished she'd known because she would have taken video so we did it again.
Dinner, in Ottumwa Iowa. We never did see Radar.
That's right up the street from where my folks lived and a good place to eat.
Tonights digs.
The most famous resident may be Tom Arnold. He was actually a year ahead of me in school and I knew him and his sister, the so-called "meth queen".

Hit the road this morning, with a chance of rain in the forecast.
Seemed like an appropriate lunch stop, in Eagle Wisconsin. We got rained on for about 30 miles, prior to lunch. Rain gear for the win.
Walked the grounds, did some shopping, and took some selfies. Tomorrow we visit the museum.
The view from our room. Can u see my bike? This is the Iron Horse Hotel, just across the river from the museum.
Our room is on the top floor, with all the lights on.
Doc has a buddy for the night.
Speaks for itself.
The bridge leading to the museum.
H-D in all its glory.
