All that riding is killing you with the snacks Seriously though. I eat more the more I ride. It's just the way it is. Retired here as well and got out today with some friends for a few hours. I needed the wind therapy as the bike has sat unused in the garage for the last 3 weeks for a variety of reasons.
Is there something you can do so the words on your hat, etc., don't show up reversed, like mirror image?
I noticed that afterwards. I have a new phone and it made anything in selfie mode backwards...lol. It has since been corrected. When I noticed the backwards video I was like wtf?
No wind therapy today, but I did spend about 4 hours with the bike. I did a 3 hole service, since the bike is at 110,012 miles. Then I washed it, really good.

I went downstairs yesterday and put a new decal on the license plate Then had a nap
The weather forecast for today was less than desirable. I had a checkup at the dentist this morning, after which I went home and dusted, vacuumed and threw a couple of rugs and a cat bed into the washer. I got in my workout around noon and while doing so the sun popped out, which it was not forecasted to do. Once my workout was complete, I got cleaned up and rolled the Limited out of the garage. I knew I was headed to Wisconsin before I hit the end of my block.
I rode up to Mount Horeb, grabbed a bite to eat at a Culver's, then headed back home. I took different routes there and back, which is how I usually do it. The sky stayed clear and the sun stayed out the entire ride...well, until the sun set that is. I saw 64 degrees, which was ten degrees warmer than the forecasted temp. I also saw $5.50 per gallon premium gasoline...no I didn't stop. When I did stop I paid $5.00 per gallon for premium and put in 5.5 gallons.
The next three days don't look so good, but it seems weather forecasting is more guessing than anything these days, so we shall see.
I rode over to Workmans Harley Davidson, in Rockfalls, to pick up one of their 40th anniversary shirts today. I figured it was just what I needed, you know, another HD shirt, in black.
It was warm, 67 degrees, but the sun was short lived. The winds were at 20 mph, but that's no reason to not ride.
I've complained about the weather quite a bit lately, but to be fair, I do have over 1700 miles on already. It's probably more me having more time to ride than the weather being worse. Just the same, I'm ready for a good month of sunny, warm weather.
