Wind therapy.
Fixed the horn today. Well, I moved the bottom fastener to the top. One bolt and two zipties are now holding it on..lol.
It started right up, so I rolled it out of hiding.
Sunny, clear and in the 50's. It was quite windy and there was a chance of rain or a t-storm, but I went for it anyway.
First stop of 2024 was along the Rock River, to say hello to Chief Blackhawk.
Couldn't pass up a snow pic.
Things started looking nasty, while I was still 20 miles from home, so I high tailed it back. Ten minutes after I got home, it hit hit the fan.
I was able to get out yesterday.
Went down to the Starved Rock area.
No boaters.
You can't tell here, but there was a 15mph wind, out of the south, all day.
Glamour shot.
Ottawa is just across the river.
It was a great day.
The weather was great today...well, up until about 4pm anyway.
I saw 79° today.
Lock & dam 13, on the Mississippi River.
Headed out of Sabula Iowa, over to Savanna Illinois.
I saw over 2 dozen bald eagles between Sabula and Savanna.
I stopped to look at aome eagles before crossing the bridge into Savanna.
I had a great day, but the weather is about to turn ugly now. We're under a tornado watch right now and all hell is supposed to break out, as we go from 79° to 20° by 9am tomorrow. It should be interesting.
These clouds followed me home.
It was 52° and cloudy, but I spotted blue sky, on the horizon, as I headed out on my errand....so I chased down the blue sky.
I also stopped by Kegel HD and checked out the new Road Glide and Street Glide. Very nice bikes. No pics from me, as yiu can see all you want online.
The clouds were still in my neck of the woods when I returned home.
