Well I can't get enough of that! Luckily here in NM, I can pretty much ride year round for continuous wind therapy. My latest was a road trip over to AZ Bike Week and back after a few days of hanging out and people watching. This bike is addicting!
Rode Stagecoach Trail from Lena to Galena, then headed over to Dubuque Iowa. From there I rode down to Sabula, along side the Mississippi River. Crossed over into Savanna and headed home, via Rt 64.
Jeff… Are you gonna have the jeep ready to Adventure with this summer?
Yes, I am. It should be done before June comes to an end. I can only get there once or twice a week, if that, so it's taking awhile. We have plans to go to Ouray Colorado in August, so it better be done....lol.
I've been without this thing for almost two years now, and I'm really jonesing to get it back.
One good thing about the nicer weather is getting to ride the Harley to do the work. I find different ways home quite often.
No pics but got in my first Evening Run of the season. First evening above 65F all year. Rode to work even, ran errands at lunch so heck with it before I put it away.
Been having some issues with the bike loading up and backfiring, and tonight I solved it. My choke is sticking. Cleared an intersection just barely, reached down and yanked the choke out and smacked it back in and it cleared out and starting running great again.
Once I cleared town I wicked it and ohh the carbon and soot it blew out.
But now that the bikes running good, time to take the scenic route up river and back down the other side.
The old highway that follows the river more than the highway of today is almost lost in time. Lots of neat houses, and small family farms, cows grazing, horses running around. The welcome change of the aroma of life vs exhaust and asphalt.
Plus this evenings dusk and sunset were perfect for riding in.
Just felt great to get away from it even if it was a 90 min 60 mile ride.
Bikes not going to see much till mid June now sadly. My schedule is leaving me little time to relax. He!! Week started today.
No pics but got in my first Evening Run of the season myself tonight. First decent day we've had above 70 all season. Stayed about 65 well into th evening
