The 2019 season is over. 25,474 Harley miles. Went a lot of places, saw a lot faces, and the wife had a lot of wine....lol.
Bikes were serviced, cleaned and tucked away today. Too much road salt out there for my liking. There are also some very cold temps in the forecast. I was glad today was in the mid 40's, which made getting the bikes fueled, stabil added, and put away, much more enjoyable than some of the teen days we've been having would have.
Thanks Rocky, but I'd be happy with half as many miles if they were all somewhere other than illinois. I do like my Friday Rideday's though, it sure beats working.
I'm hoping for at least one multi state ride next year, two if I can swing it. The wife and I are looking at getting up into Canada in 2021.
jeffro...just getting caught up on this great thread and can see youve done a fine job of showing the excellent rides youve put together in Illinois. Its been a few years since Ive ridden some of those parts and I think I recognized Starved Rock State Park in a couple pics. I remember the cool network of 2-lanes running all over northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin with those family-style pubs almost everywhere. Seems like many had Old Style Beer signs out front. Sure enjoy your photo skills and enthusiasm.
