February 05, 2018.
View from our boat at Shark/Ray Alley off Ambergris Caye, Belize
The glass bottom boat to Shark/Ray Alley with Captain Mitch at the helm
Yes folks thats a Shark! (A nurse shark)
Sharks right up to the boat for feeding time
More sharks around the boat
Suzie and our friends in the water with the sharks. Once again “I” stayed on the boat
The brave snorkellers!
Two dolphins followed us most of the way back. They are amazing animals and gave us quite the show!
Enjoy!
Cheers, Terry

Adventures with the “Scorpios”
February 13, 2018.
A walk on the beach yesterday to go and pick up our laundry. This sign shows some of the future developments planned for the island.
Banyon Bay. Another island resort.
The outdoor bar at Banyon Bay resort. Stopped for a quick drink before heading to the laundry.
The restaurant at Banyon Bay. Excellent food served here!
After picking up our laundry a stop on the way back at Crazy Canucks bar where Daryl (right) a local to Ambergris and Greg (Left) from Sudbury Ontario treated us to some afternoon tunes.
One thing to remember on the island is, unless you have a washer and dryer supplied with your rental unit (something we did not get) there are no laundromats like we would have back home. There are, however, laundry facilities that you can bag up and take your laundry to for a fee. Usually around $12 US defending on how much you have as it goes by weight. It has been a learning for us.
Transportation is also not cheap. To rent a golf cart will cost you as much per month as renting a car from a rental agency back home.
None the less the 80 degree daily weather and sunshine beats the heck out of the cold and snow back home.
Family arriving today for a week long visit!
Cheers and hope it warms up for all back home!
More to come!

Adventures with the “Scorpios”
February 19, 2018.
Estels, San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize.
Eat under cover or choose a table right on the beach with an awesome view of the sea.
Sit at the bar is another option.
Suzie and I had lunch here today. Excellent food at this location and a favourite spot on the island.
Cheers, Terry

Adventures with the “Scorpios”
February 22, 2018.
Today we walked the beach into San Pedro for a few supplies. Along the way we stopped and photographed some construction happening on the island. This place is called Diamante and the units here are for sale.
Half of this development is already open. Best you have a fat wallet or bank account if you are interested as a one bedroom furnished apartment sells for $500,000.00 US Dollars!
On the way bank a picture of Ramons Village Pier. Very popular dive excursions on the island.
Enjoy and as always more to come!
