Adventures with the "Scorpios"
Great pics. Glad y’all are getting some riding in up north. Bike night tonight here, it’ll only be 95 degrees. We have had a string of over 100 degree days.
Finally all work caught up around the homestead and time to ride today. Unfortunately Suzie is “under the weather”, so my riding friend Paul and I headed out for the afternoon.
First stop was at a friends house to help with his backyard pool, and then off to Mitchell’s Bay, Ontario for a bite and a beverage.
Beautiful day for riding with the return trip north along the shore of the St. Clair river to Sarnia.
Enjoy the photos!
Cheers, Terry
Stop at our riding friends Chad & Brandy to drop off a chemical to clear up their pool water.
Bob’s Buoys Bar & Grill, Mitchells Bay, Ontario. ( Great Bass fishing in this area)
They have an huge patio to seat numerous patrons. Excellent food served here!
Main Street Michells Bay.
Harleys parked across the street as out front parking spaces were full when we arrived.
From 5 years ago, the memories of 2017.
On this date “Rocky” made the trip to Ontario and spent a couple of days with us. (The “Scorpios”)
A long journey to get here. Thanks for visiting my friend.
Lets hope our paths cross again sometime!
Cheers, Terry
Met up at a Timmies in Goderich, Ontario and rode south to Sarnia.

Well folks we are 3 days away from finally getting to attend the annual “Hogs for Hospice” run in Leamington, Ontario. This is great venue with 1000’s of bikes in attendance.
Four hour guided ride through Point Pelee Park, concerts, food trucks and vendors. A great 3 day long weekend filled with festivities. Check it out at www.hogsforhospice.com
I have attached a few pics from our 2019 ride there for your enjoyment.
Lots of pics to come after the ride this weekend and the weather looks perfect!
Cheers, Terry

A quick ride last evening close to home with our friends Paul & Debbie. Up under the Bluewater Bridges for a quick get together with some other bikers. Then off to downtown Sarnia to “Ups and Downs” English pub for dinner.
Great night for a ride and one more day until off to Leamington for the rally.
Cheers, Terry
Ups and Downs English pub Sarnia. Great food here!

Front street downtown Sarnia looking south.
The “Hogs for Hospice” weekend was a huge success. Perfect weather for an awesome rally.
We arrived home yesterday afternoon after a great ride home.
We haven’t seen an official count of the number of bikes that participated in the “Tour of the Tip” ride, but an estimation would be somewhere between 1500 and 3000.
A very well attended event for a good cause.
I have numerous photos so will post in two replies.
Enjoy and thanks for following!
Cheers, Terry

Friday, July 29th we arrive at the Seacliff Inn in Leamington Ontario.
The Seacliff Inn on the shores of Lake Erie and just up the street form the ferry terminal to Pelee Island.
The hang out spot out front. Lots of bikers stay here.
Friday night over to the Camping area just up the hill from us to visit our riding friends Chad & Brandy.
Yes folks thats a 40 ft toy hauler they own. Beautiful trailer with all the bells and whistles.
Time for beverages and a nice steak dinner on the back patio. This folds down to a ramp to load his Harley into the back compartment and doubles as living/sleeping quarters.
Saturday morning the rest of our riding gang arrives from Sarnia.
Time to saddle up and get ready to go get in line for the tour ride set to leave at 10:30am.
Row of bikes staged up at the road beside Seacliff Park
Another view of the massive line up for the rally.

A view looking backwards of the line up of bikes. The rows actually go right around the corner and down the next street.
Our gang from Sarnia shooting the breeze before the ride.
The shirt tent inside Seacliff Park. Hogs for Hospice t-shirts and other trinkets for purchase.
Although a little bit fuzzy, Suzie and I ready for the ride.
Saturday at noon. The half way point of the mapped out and guided ride took us to downtown Kingsville, Ontario.
All the bikes lined up on the Main Street of Kingsville. They actually shut the whole town down for this Hospice ride.
More of the line up of bikes in Kingsville. Time for a beverage and conversation prior to heading back to Seacliff Park.
The town of Leamington built a permanent concert venue right down a hill and right on the shores of Lake Erie.
Always concerts planned for Civic holiday weekend and Hogs for Hospice. This years line up was “The Cult”, Rock Friday night and Country Saturday night featuring “Brett Young”.
The official “Hogs for Hospice” logo.
Off to the beer tent area for foods and beverages.
Picnic area part of the beer tent set up.
Met this fine fellow on a side street on the way back to the hotel. Yes folks, he is sitting in a hot tub in his front yard!
Another photo of his place. Always a tourist attraction for the many people that walk by on their way to Seacliff Park.
The timing was perfect as we got back to the hotel. Managed to catch the ferry from Pelee Island in port and off loading vehicles and passengers.
