Here's a video the wife and I threw together from our Sturgis trip this year. It's long with a lot of 'fluff' for friends/family, but there's some pretty good riding and Rally video mixed in.
If you've got a few minutes, grab your favorite beverage, sit back, and enjoy...
That route (from So Cal) was bitchin'. We rode home the boring way through southern WY, UT, Vegas, etc. We stayed in Sturgis an extra day so had to B-line it back to get to work.
Did take a bit to put all the footage together, but kept my mind in the trip (instead of back to work) for a week after.
Definitely recommend everyone doing it at least once...
Thanks again for the comments! Ride on...
P.S. Definitely was concerned she'd struggle with the lack of running water. She sucked it up, though. Outhouses, public showers, and all. Kinda added to the "flavor" of the trip.
You're right, though. The 'cost' will come when it comes to planning next year's vacation!
