We all use Google Maps, HD Ride Planner, etc to plan our trips.
I'm looking for a route planning website that also shows current weather along the planned route.
Any ideas?

NOAA is the best for predicting weather and temps.

 

I wish Waze had the weather map overlay

 

I agree that would be a great app to have. I haven't found it yet. Until I do, I use MyRadar app for that day's route weather report.

 

I just go to noaa and click on the Northeast loop and it shows the current weather with a 3 hour time lapse.

 

I use inRoute on my iPad but to see the weather, it's a one time extra cost.

 

Problem is you are planning a route and looking at current weather. Depending on how long your route is that may not help you.

One of the radar map sites mentioned is likely your best bet. The ones I have seen show the interstates on them so you can get an idea of where the weather is in relation to your route
