Worst Road you've been down
I did not know about the oil boom in N. Dakota. When I got there most of the road was torn up to make it four lane. The path along side it was just gravel and ground up asphalt from the old road.
I was on a 10 Ultra Classic. Many miles latter at Williston, N.D I finally turned south to go to Spearfish on a paved road. I think 85. My arms were very weary from all the fighting I had to do to keep the bike going forwards.
Their curves were bad *** and when they said 10 & 15 mph you'd better follow the recommendations as it was straight down like hundreds of feet.
Really spooky in the dark and in a rain storm.
Watch yo ***.
I loved this road. Fortunately I had good weather for it. We took it from Three way to St Johns and had a blast. I plan on doing it again next year coming back from our 50 CC.
So far no nightmare roads for me, but there is always next year.

Some roads in Louisiana are terrible too. Probably won't go back there either.
The Stairs to Nowhere in NH is a nice ride...except the last couple miles are not paved! Not at all technical, pretty easy...but absolutely no warning about it.
95 from New London to the NY state line is a traffic-choked hell. The White Cross and Merritt Parkways are busy, but much nicer, and at least you aren't dancing with Kenworths.
Speaking of which: I-78 in Jersey! A few years ago, I rode the Blue Ridge Parkway...on the way down, I went via Philly, because I wanted to see the USS Olympia. Coming out of Philly, I wound up on I-78. YOWZA! If every semi in the northeast is not on that highway, most seem to be! Nothing like running 70MPH and having a ratty FL Columbia go roaring by at 85 pulling a container! No, never doing THAT again!
Also, after crossing the Tappan Zee Bridge in a thunderstorm, I will be quite happy if I never repeat that experience.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Road this last summer from Alpine to Morenci. What a blast. No traffic and lots of twisties. Had a deer hop off a cliff into the road then right off the other side. I swear it was a sheer drop. LOL......Would ride it again anytime.
