Sturgis

I’ve owned a Harley since 1975. We’ve never been to Sturgis for the rally. We decided to go this year. It seems to be to late to get a hotel room. I wondered if anyone new a place available. We would need a private room with a bathroom and a/c. It’s just my wife and I. Would like to stay two nights. Thanks

I got a room in rapid city just a couple days before the rally last year. Just watch booking.com.
cost was around 150 a night

Booking.com is a great source. Rapid City is fine and you may find something you like in Keystone, Custer, Hill City or even Belle Fourche. Those examples above are usually among the most expensive. Those guys will price high this far out and adjust pricing, sometimes daily, to match changes in demand, although $250 for a relatively fancy joint in Deadwood is about right during the rally. If you use Booking be sure and note the cancellation rules for what you’re buying. Two prices are sometimes shown, one with free cancellation and one with no refund. I’ll wager you’ll have a great time wherever you stay....always interesting riders to meet, motorcycles rule, great riding from twisties in the hills to wide open high plains stuff.

We got our room on booking.com. $150 a night in rapid city. We are staying the whole week getting a room for 2 nights might be a little difficult cause most places want you to book for the week.

try the 2 colleges black hills and miners .they may have something . By the way my wife hated the crowds at surges and loved deadwood ! I f u go to custards state park stop and get apples and carrots the animals love them !!!!
