I have ridden Hwy 93 from Twin Falls down to I-80. You might see a cow every ten miles. Then, there is the Nevada state line. There are four or five casinos and then you might see a cow every fifteen miles.

hmmm well might be a change of plan but it would be nice to see a cow every 15 miles instead of 15 seconds!
cheers Bruce nz

When I got to I-80, I did see a big sign with a big arrow pointing towards something like "Mary's Ranch" or something like that. I guess it is some sort of tourist attraction. I kept going the other way.

A few miles east of this location is Bonneville Salt Flats. If you happened to be in the area during Speedweek, that would be pretty cool. I was there during that time period, but it had been cancelled. The flats were flooded with about a foot of water.

I visit the launch site of Evel's Skycycle over the Snake River every time I'm out that way. It's private land and I used to be antiquated with the owner. It's near the the bridge everyone BASE jumps off of (which is legal to do and happens quite a lot).

I lot of nothing which can be very interesting and enjoyable. Perhaps a redirect to the east and go thru Utah might be a bit more scenic, but longer. After Twin Falls I recommend a ride up to Craters of the Moon NP, very cool stuff going on up there.

93 is a lightly used and lonely road. If you like the high desert it’s nice. Go to Post 293 of The Journeys Of Darla and you can see some picts. I did it a couple of years ago.

You won’t see any cattle there. Infact there are several ranches in Nevada that don’t have cattle.

I've done it 1,000 times in a cage.
As was said if you like high desert you'll be in love. If not....it's lonely & long.

There's enough places to stop for fuel nowadays that it should be easily doable. I would recommend it in late spring early fall of course.
What time of year?
Do you like high desert?
