Excellent motorcycle road that has just been repaved. Hwy 128 just as you leave Linden heading south on 13. Lots of nice twisties and little traffic. End along the shore of the Tenn River in Clifton.
You can float the peaceful Buffalo River, if you want to diversify your experience. Or the Duck River, or the Harpeth River. Go a couple hundred miles for the faster plateau rivers. Linden is what I consider in the boonies, so kind of like a camping trip with a roof and running water. Don't expect a Publix and a multi-screen theatre. Royal Range has some activities at the Loretta Lynn Ranch, for shooting. Man, there is so much, you should google the area and whatever you like to do.
The ride up 48 to Clarksville is as good as it gets. From Clarksville it is a nice ride up to Bowling Green Ky. and the Corvette Museum and production plant.

I've never done 48. Is it good all the way from Hohenwald to Clarksville? Or do you remember where you started from to head to Clarksville?

To OP if you head straight north on 13 through Linden you will go past Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch. Often stuff going on there and depending when you are here there is a bike rally that this will be the third year if it happens again. Seems to be growing and picking up steam. Hwy 13 is also a very fun hwy to ride most of the way up to Clarksville. Stop at I-40 on the way up and order the Country Fried steak at the Log Cabin Restaurant. Thank me later!

What he said...
I have property in Linden (small town less than 950 people), and will be relocating to the area within next couple of years. It's about 90 miles SW of Nashville.
Check out Hawg's N Hillbillies on 2909 Cedar Creek Rd..
They have a FB page: Hawgs N Hillbillies Biker Bar
Also, I'll be in the area in June for CMA Fest 2019...
