Day 2 took us to Chamberlain South Dakota. It was all back roads today.
It was 68 degrees this morning and it dropped to 64. We stopped in the middle of no where and the wife put on her gloves. I put on my jacket. Our first photo op in South Dakota, just a mile or so across the boarder. There are no welcome signs on the back roads. Lunch was in Sioux Falls. We visited the one and only Corn Palace. Thats our destination....on the right, where its raining. We got just a bit of rain, but nothing worth stopping and gearing up over. Dinner was in Chamberlain. Chamberlain is right on the Missouri River, so we checked it out. Very peaceful. The sun sets very late, compared to back home. Another great day of riding.
Tomorrow should take us to Sturgis and beyond.....unless the weather says otherwise.
