Quick to criticize and contradict aren't you. Are you typically the antagonist? I didn't say I rode to Alaska did I. I'd do the same thing again because it takes a lot less time to take the ferry and you get to see the Inner Passage and Juneau which you will never do on your bike. Of course if you want to say "you've ridden up to Alaska", by all means ride your bike then.
