Does anyone use a seat pad for added comfort on long trips? I’m looking at either Air Hawk or Saddleman. Any suggestions?
just rode from central Florida to Mobile, Alabama yesterday. Bike is great, my a$$, not much. I could ride for longer periods if I could be more comfortable.

I've used both but found greater comfort with the air hawk. My discomfort is with my sit bones and the air hawk lifts me enough to reduce the pressure on those points. Sheepskin helps me be cooler but doesn't relieve the pressure as much as the pad.

I used a regular old gel pad on my last trip. Felt great for a bit but then my tail bone killed me. Seemed worse then previous trips with the same seat/bike.
I have purchased a gel seat pad from a member here with the channel cut out of the center. Looking forward to giving that a whirl. Hoping it does the trick.
My issue has been my lack of ***, which means my tailbone takes a lot of pressure.
