With the increase in the C-19 cases in some of the states, And the EU potentially stopping American tourism from entering Europe… I’m beginning to wonder If the border will open up this summer between Canada and the US... If not that is going to be one hell of a financial hit on Tourism on both sides of the border. When I was in Jasper a couple weeks back it was a ghost town... and if so the Alcan will be pretty much a ghost Road.
I highly doubt it ive rssolved that my annual trip south will be a no go next month. Sucks donkeys big time. So I been making plans to head west across the prairies and spend some time in BC.
The plus is getting to spend some time in my own country and seeing some parts that I wud normally not even have on my radar.
Not a chance. With Canada's infection rate almost at zero, and the USA's climbing straight up, there is no way Canada will open the border. Not until somebody actually takes charge and forces everyone to social distance and wear masks to get this under control. But I can't see that happening. I'm sure the border will be closed until there is a cure, treatment or vaccine.

I seriously doubt it will be open for a while. I agree with Scout, with our infection rate under control and the states entering what appears to be a 2nd phase ,I don't see it opening anytime soon. Too bad to, I was looking into a trip to Fuel Moto but it looks like I may have to wait till next year.
I have a trip planned for Yellowstone first week of September but im not holding my breath. I would give an educated quess that we will not see the border open up before 2021.
