Default Gettysburg area

Headed to Gettysburg area in September. Looking for sites to see in addition to the Civil War stuff. Already been to the plant in York, not interested in that this time.
thanks in advance.

Take a ride down to Harpers Ferry WV--it's about 60 miles one way--nice place to visit-----also ride through Caledonia State Park on 233 off 30 west of Gettysburg

One of my bucket list rides. Very interested in the civil war history. Stopped at all sites I came across when I rode to North Carolina a few years back.

If you have the time, it is a 2 hour and 15 min ride from Gettysburg PA to the Flight 93 Memorial on Route 30. Once you get past Chambersburg, PA it is a nice ride on Route 30.

I see you’re coming up from North Carolina. I live near Winchester Va and get up to Gettysburg probably once a month riding around Camp David. There are a lot of great riding roads in the area. Are you coming up BRP?

Make sure you do a bus tour or a private tour of the park. They share so much info. Then you can ride the bike through.

You could head out 30 east and into Lancaster county. Nice riding through Amish farmland
