Advise for road trip
I need advise as to where to go for a road trip this fall.A group of friends want to gettogether and just ride but they wanted me to be the planner/guide/pilot.
We only have 4days(leaving from Columbia, SC) due to the fact that we are still stationed inFt. Jackson, and only have a 4 day pass.
Woulddefinately like to go towards the smoky mountains (TN / NC) but there is just so many roads to choose from.
We did the Blue Ridge in May 07, so we would like something different this time.
Can you all give some input as to some great roads to travel on?
Thanks to all in advance

Not sure if 4 days would allow you to make it but Deals Gap AKA "The Dragons Tail" is a great ride

You can also pick some good rides by planning odd or unique destinations rather than just road types. Go to the following online spots for hints on roadside spots that make a trip a destination.

If all else fails simply put the words "north," "south," "east," and "west" in a hat and have a bud draw one. Whichever direction you pick is the way you go ...
