Sorry I didn't let you know. I had to go to Mississippi for the funeral of an uncle of mine about a week ago. My brother and I decided to take the bikes. On the way back from Yazoo we decided to take the Trace down to Natchez and hit the casino.
We saw a lot of wildlife this time and stopped at some different places along the way.
If you ride the Trace and want another interesting stop there is a petrified forest about 8 miles from the Trace on 49 west of Jackson. It was pretty interesting.

And while you are in Cherokee there is a great place to stay. It's called Two Rivers Lodge and the German lady who owns it loves bikers. She will even put towels out for you to wipe your bike down. This place is about 5 miles out of town and on the way to Murphy NC, and the Dragon
