Harley Ride Planner
I can however run both google maps and Waze - seems I can toggle between the two.
It involves the Options setting within the mobile app, or more accurately begins with the AVOID setting in the website Ride Planner. In the website Ride Planner, when creating my ride, I had selected to 'Avoid: Unpaved Roads' on a very few of my created Rides. This setting is pulled over into the mobile app version of Ride Planner, for the given ride. And even though my routing did not include ANY unpaved roads, having the Options setting within the mobile app set to AVOIDANCES: UNPAVED ROADS, always resulted in the "No Routes Found" message every time I tried to invoke the "Ride It" function. I later found by simply de-selecting the Unpaved Roads option from within the app, or permanently de-selecting it from within the website version of Ride Planner (and saving it), the 'Ride It' function within the mobile app immediately pulled in the Routing, and I was able to "Start ->" my ride. Hope you don't mind this add to the thread, and hopefully helps out someone down the line.
So it would seem there is an error in the app programming, in that even though there are no unpaved roads in the planned route, the mobile app version of Ride Planner seems to think there is, and will not pull in the planned route, i.e., "No Routes Found", if the Avoid: Unpaved Roads" option is selected. I use my iPhone for GPS functions, as I ride a 2012 Ultra Ltd, so do not have the Boom Box Infotainment system. I have no idea if this same issue is happening when loading the BBI from either a thumb drive or directly/wirelessly from the iPhone, but if it is, this is the issue and solution.
Yep,I just found that out recently as well. This is great for routes that I created in other programs and want to re-ride or load and edit. Very good addition.
