Or you could go to the beach, Hampton, and head Northwest on 1 to 16 to 11 to Alton Bay, then around the lake to the Weirs. Stop at Wally's for lunch, Rochester HD, than the Chinese restaurant in Alton to watch the bikes go by and have an adult beverage.
1. Be careful of rte 1 outta Boston (like from the Chelsea area) up to abt Danvers or Topsfield if u go that way. Likely the most unsuspecting dangerous road ANYWHERE.
2. If u r near Chelsea, Tommy or Tony Florammos Steak tips, actually I always get half Steak Tips and Half Pulled Pork (crap! I have 1 of those brain farts) any, if u have not had that there, it is EXCELLENT!!!!!!! the next best place for Steak tips is the Winnipeg Chophouse. But I am getting side tracked. Sry mate.
When you get up north, 302 across (west) is NICE. Hell, any road in New England OFF the highways are GREAT!
Head toward Andover /Wilmington area on 93 and take 125 into NH----stay on 125 until it crosses 9 go left on 9 then take 126 n until you hit 28 n take that to 11 in Alton and it will take you to Weirs beach---on 11 near a scenic lookout there is usually a guy taking photos---wave at him
