Call these people ( Kim) in Hill city. I have rented two different places from them an everything was great. Also, air bnb and the like, charge a decent service fee. if you go direct it will be cheaper.
Thanks TG, if you recall the name lmk and I will look into it. Dont want $$$$ just a place to call home while I introduce my wife and son to the wonders of the area! Never hurts to inquire. Also $$$$ could be a timing thing .$$$$ during rally $ any other time hopefully
This is the one we stayed at. Older home. But, very clean, comfy. Close to stuff via trolley. Certainly a lot cheaper off the rally. https://abnb.me/9xXrxTyN4Bb

thanks Jake that’s the kinda info I’m looking for. We always try and go the direct route. With a little trust works better for all.
I was going to suggest them but I believe they are easing into retirement. He sold and closed his RE office but they may continue with the rental business. Good folks, I've done business with them many times.
This is one of their properties and is a great place, I've meet many HDF members there, we were going to build on the property upslope from it but couldn't make the footprint work. We've also "wintered" in the Tin Mill and Old Town Cottage.
