Rt. 66
Absolutely worth it. End-to-end it's a varied experience and a great way to see so much of this country on one trip.
Actually will feel like a few trips strung together. The experience and the landscape varies so much along the route.
Lots of cleaning-up going on along the way preparing for the 100-year anniversary (2026).
Two-weeks end-to-end is a reasonable pace; all depends on what you're most interested in and what time you have available.

I’ve ridden only as far as California to Prescott.
Time it when the route across Mojave Desert (Needles CA) is below 100. it can reach 120degree August. And there’s no shade.
Several towns have maintained the old R66 history. The trip is unlike you’ve ever experienced in the East.

I did it two years ago. It’s a great ride. There are many guides and maps available. There are so many interesting things to see, a true picture of America! If you do the ride plan two weeks. You'll be amazed at the number of people from different countries that come just to drive Rt. 66.
