Been looking at all the places suggested here. We’ll probably end up above Madison. We’re not concerned how far away from Milwaukee we get because we’re only going to Milwaukee one day. It looks like there’s some really nice roads to the north.
And in the end it doesn’t matter. We’re just going to be riding and smoking cigars and enjoying life.
Appreciate the suggestions!
If you are a Football fan, Lambeau Field is a worthy day ride. You can tour their Hall of Fame and/or a Field Tour. Lots of great history and a fun little town. Does not matter if you are a Packers fan, just a Football fan makes it a good time.
I rode the bike out to Hartford Wi, today it’s about 50 mins not taking highway and 40 on highway, from me, and I am 25 mins north to Harley museum.
nice small city but looks more like a village pop 14k

Hartford is nice. Anything north and west is ok. I like northern Kettle Moraine myself. I wouldn't go all the way to Madison. Madison is not my type of place. Better than Milwaukee, I guess.
You get 20-40 miles west or north of Milwaukee and it is decent.
