We will be staying in Shenandoah Valley.
Shenandoah Valley is narrow (20-25 miles but 200 miles long. You can pick up Skyline at Front Royal and ride it all the way down to Roanoke where it becomes the Blue Ridge parkway.
Around Winchester/FR area, you can do a loop on Skyline to 211 and ride east through Sperryville and loop back around on 522 to FR.
You can also do a day and head west out into the George Washington National Forest area and ride a variety of routes that are spectacular. There are so many roads that we ride around here in the Northern Shenandoah Valley that run North, South and West its hard to tell you what to do without a base camp.

Okay, New Market gives you easy access to couple of good days of riding.
1. Take 211 east through Sperryville and head north on 522 to Front Royal. When you get to Front Royal, look for the north entrance to Skyline Drive and ride it down back to 211 and New Market. If you want to stop for lunch or a beverage, just north of the skyline entrance is downtown FR and there are several pubs and restaurants.
2. Head south on 81 to Harrisonburg and pick up 33 west. Ride it over the mountain pass and onto 220 N. Stay on 220 till you get to 48/55 east. Run it to 81 and then 81S from Strasburg to New Market. Or instead of 81, you can take 259 to New Market as well.
If you need more info, let me know.

Very nice. I miss riding in the Shenandoah Valley as I've been in Colorado and Wyoming for a couple decades. My buddy wants me to bring out one of the bikes to Virginia to do a ride. Might have to do that again. I can't complain as I just did 169 miles in the mountains of Colorado and Wyoming today.

We used to have family reunions every year at Pinnacles in October. Fantastic scenery.

I always say if I didn’t live in the Shenandoah valley, I would live in Colorado in a heartbeat! Been in your state probably about 8 or 9 times in the last 20 years on motorcycle trips.
