long trip alone

I am leaving the Marines first part of August and riding my 08 low rider to Houston.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Read all the ideas in other posts in how to dress, when to stop, etc., but I am looking for cool places to stop ot have lunch, that sort of thing.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Any ideas?

If I was making that run I would try my best to at least run part of on route 66.

Unfortunately, I8 out of Daygo wont get him anywhere near 66. Unless he's planning on making a 4 day trip out of it. It's gonna be hot as the dickens through the desert, so remember your training. You can make it in 2 days if you push yourself.
