I made a duty trade so we can leave early on Wednesday morning the 26th. Want to be there before all the trafic starts into town so I can see the fine rides as they arrive.
Bought a new 1 gig chip for the digital camera, plan on taking lots of pics. Hope to get some group photos of the HDF members to post here.
We will be going on tuesday the 25th and returning on monday may 1st.
Will be staying in our toyhauler at an rv park in bullhead city with some friends.
Whoever goes to Laughlin, ya gotta make a side trip up to Oatman! Wow! Can't say enough about this really cool leftover mining town! They even have wild burros wandering around the streets up there. OK, main st (rt 66) is pretty much the only street up there, but more than well worth the ride! Wooden sidewalks, lots of cool shops, places to eat, very biker friendly people up there. And they re-enact old west shootouts several times a day. To get there from Laughlin, cross the bridge into Arizona, head south, turn left onto 66 and ride on up. It's only a few miles and you'll be glad you did! You can continue east out of town on 66, and ride into Kingman Az and then loop back to Lauglin from there. Have fun!
I'm getting into Vegas on the evening of the 26th...but will be bikeless unless we can find a resonable rental for one day. Is anyone going to be in Vegas and care to get together for a quick beer, coffee or whatever?
We're heading out Wednesday and staying at Harrah's also (Wolfx, we'll be looking for you). We'll be hanging withe the Renegade Wheets group right out in front of Harrah's. Good group, stop by.
Grover, we have a similar plan. Want lots of photos. I can spend an entire day just looking at other's rides. I can't wait...how much longer is it???[sm=biker2.gif] I feel like that little guy on the Mickeyland commercial...
