My Brother-in-Law and I are leaving on Monday and riding to the Grand Canyon for a couple of days then riding back to Needles on Wednesday where we will set up base. Maybe blow out to Vegas for a day. Hope to see you all there.

We have 4 to 6 of us leaving So. Utah on Friday, I will be staying out by the Cannery in North Las Vegas. I will post more when we get together to finalize our plans. Hope for nice weather

Anyone going to be in Henderson Thursday around noon? Could meet at the Harley dealer there and finish the ride to Laughlin together?? Just a thought.

Is anyone taking the lead for an HDF meet? Maybe consider making a list of cell phone numbers so we can all meet and take a ride or two?? Oatman sound great for starters, then who knows. Just another thought........

Does anyone know when the actual "River Run" takes place -- which day. My group is not planning on going, but it sounds like something you gotta do at least once, so I'd like to join you with a few of you that ARE going (IF it fits in the schedule -- I have not checked with my social director).

Whoever goes to Laughlin, ya gotta make a side trip up to Oatman! Wow! Can't say enough about this really cool leftover mining town! They even have wild burros wandering around the streets up there. OK, main st (rt 66) is pretty much the only street up there, but more than well worth the ride! Wooden sidewalks, lots of cool shops, places to eat, very biker friendly people up there. And they re-enact old west shootouts several times a day. To get there from Laughlin, cross the bridge into Arizona, head south, turn left onto 66 and ride on up. It's only a few miles and you'll be glad you did! You can continue east out of town on 66, and ride into Kingman Az and then loop back to Lauglin from there. Have fun!

Its all set.
We are leaving Weds. between 10-11am and making it a 5 day vacation. that will put us in Henderson between 12-1pm. Then on to Laughlin unless some of us HDF folks wanna meet up and ride on together.
