So good i"m doing it again.
Last June I rode from TN to Plymouth MA. Solo and mostly Interstate (80%). Took 2 1/2 days. Nice weather most of the way (Luck). Met some very nice people along the way, and good eats. Ended up in the Bronx NY due to some excellent misdirections. Had a GPS but batteries gave out just when I needed it. That was the highlight of that trip. It was really enjoyable, so much so I'm doing it again in Aug. I've been riding for almost 20yrs. and that was my first long rode trip. I guess as you get older you enjoy and appreciate the finer things in life as the saying goes. Don't plan on getting missdirected this time, I have a better GPS Unit.

If you get some time to kill try this out.
Leave the GPS at home and just follow your nose. Ask people you meet along the way where a good place to go is and keep doing that until you head back home.
