I was born in Natchez, MS, though I didn't grow up there. If you're a history buff (particularly Civil War era), this will be right up your alley!

Riding at night can be 'interesting' (it's a dark, narrow road with enough oncoming traffic to keep your night vision screwed up and more deer than you can possibly count)

Speed limit is low, and I've been told it can be very aggressively enforced.

Watch your fuel.

Other than that, it's a GREAT ride with lots to see and do.

they strictly enforce dot helmets!!!! trust me i live i live in tupelo. the prb going on a holiday is traffic. there are many lakes and rivers mainly north of me that will get busy other than that its fine. i dont personnally like it but ive been up and down it so much. if you like elvis swing throu here see his birthplace and all. Beware of the wildlife!
