Well, there will be a big difference in how I pack for a 3,000-mile trip on my Sporty than you will on your Ultra+trailer.
It's a good idea to have medical insurance for wherever you go, esp. another country, and to have insurance to cover your extraction if necessary, bike included it it's worth retrieving.
You did'nt mention whether the other half was going,that changes thing's.I carry 3 complete changes of clothes with me,plus extra long sleeve shirt.Small tool kit plus tie wire[bailing wire]electrical tape,couple hose clamps,wire ties,fix a flat [small can].Easiest way is to lay everything you and your lady think you need by your mc and trailer,then start cutting it down.Some carry junk t-shirt's that they throw away when they buy new ones,there are all kind's of different method's.Google motorcycle touring and thier are so many references it'll make you dizzy,thier are some list's that are so big you must have a trailer.
