If the question is about Alice's Restaurant (http://www.alicesrestaurant.com/) in California, it's in Woodside. Lots of bikes on the weekends. 35/84/9 is some crazy riding on Sat/Sun. Lots of really fast sport bike riders, a fair amount DY crossings and the inevitable bicycle riders that sometimes go 3 wide. All fun to ride, but fairly dangerous too. A Thursday shouldn't be too bad. Lots of other great riding in the Bay Area too. Of course, HWY 1 is fantastic from Pacifica to Monterrey, further South to Big Sur as well as North of the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin up to Tomales Bay (check out Tony's Seafood in Marshall). A bit further East is Mines Road in Livermore to Mount Hamilton. The place to stop there is called the The Junction Bar and Grill (http://thejunctionbarandgrill.com/). Same principal as Alice's, but not near as many bikes...or the craziness.
Don't even know if it's still there but "Neptune's Net" on PCH (Hwy 1) near Malibu is a good place to stop and get some seafood. When I used to go there 6+ years ago they had outhouses and usually some Celebs along with fast cars, and nice bikes in their dirt parking lot.
I am in the Monterey area and do go to Alice's a few times per year and it's a great ride. Make sure you take highway 9 through Felton to get there. This way you wills ee the redwoods. You should also try to see Santa Cruz as well and if you wanna see soem nice places while in Monterey, check out the warf, maybe ride Big Sur and also you shoudl do a ride through Carmel Valley and the Cachaua loop.
