I have the HD "Packable Rainsuit."
http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US

I used it almost everyday for three weeks in Alaska last summer. It kept me dry every time.

Good advice, all. I use a Nelson-Rigg bibs w/jacket rainsuit. It's kept me dry for a few hour long downpours but hasn't been tested for days on end like some others. I need new waterproof "overgloves" to go over my leather gloves - any suggestions?

Ride with Fury,

Ride with Fury,
How about not worrying about the over gloves and getting a pair of truly 100% water proof gloves. Check out the Hugger gloves http://shop.techncyclegear.com/categ...?categoryId=22

And don't forget about your 10% forum discount HF10 coupon code at checkout.

Thanks for the suggestion, HDUR. Your recommended gloves look good and remind me of a pair of aquatex waterproof leather gloves that I have. I've decided to go with rubber overgloves b/c I want something waterproof to go over my light leather summer gloves, which are lighter than the Shop Hugger gloves and which I dig when the sun is shining.

Enjoy the Goodness,

I second his opinion here,

I have used this suit numerous times in extremely heavy rains, (with hail and high wind), and I am completely happy with the suits performance.

As a prelude to my planned Sturgis Trip this year, with the famed heat that is in the area at that time, I decided to look for the H-D Gore-Tex suit.

I went to Ebay, and after several unsuccessful attempts, finally won an auction for the jacket and pants at a quarter of the cost new.

Both of the items were as new, and I would have taken them with me to the Rally in Sturgis if not for the deer hitting me on Mother's Day of this year and severely damaging my FLTR and me to a lesser extent.

I like Ebay,

Why is it guys will drop 20 grand on a new bike and then not spend a couple of bucks to get some decent rain gear.
Buying the right stuff the first time is cheaper then buying inexpensive alternatives 3 or 4 times. Rant over.
I have the HD Canal Street gear and it works very well and has never failed to keep me dry through rain, snow, and all kinds of crap, that and it all packs up nice and small into the hood of the jacket.
A buddy of mine has some no name stuff and he balloons up so bad he can't see out of his mirrors and it has a nice hole on the inside of the right leg.

There's no room to cry and complain if you're too cheap to get the proper rain gear. You deserve to get wet.
