I have recently become diabetic. Does anyone travel with this condition? And what are some good travel trips for me? I have been riding for 20+ years, but have always just eaten when and what I wanted. Now I have to be very careful and prepared to be out on the road with everything I need (food, medicine, etc). Thanks for any advice to help keep me on the road.
I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head when you saidm be prepared.
Just knowing you have the medical condition is a plus. Being on the bike your stopping every 2 hours so you can monitor your blood sugar level. I'm Hypo, but not full blown, so I have to make sure I eat regularly. Sounds like ya have it under control.
