Mac, If you plan on taking I-20, you gotta stop by and visit. We are right on the freeway.

Mac, ditto here on the I-20. While we're not right off I-20, we're about 20 miles north of it. If the timing and distance are right for you, you've a place to stay for the night.

Texas ain't HOT. Yuma, Arizona is HOT. 118 in the summer, and no problems. Put an oil cooler on the bike, and you'll be fine. I'm planning a ride to Myrtle Beach on June 30, I will motor through Texas on July 1, no problem. It'll be hot, Dallas is hot, but I'll cover my skin, and drink some water every hour.

Bill, I kinda like the idea of hosing myself down...I can definitely see how the crowd around you would think you've lost your ever lovin' mind!

Mac

Yuma is definitely hot, but in Houston you gotta figure 100 degrees + EXTREME humidity. That'll drag the life out of you... If you decide to take I-10 coming east, Mac, let me know when you're going through Houston.
