It's a long story, but we are trying to end up with a lifestyle that splits our time between the US and Perth. My wife is from Perth.
The weather is absolutely beautiful in Perth, although quite hot in the summer.
I'd like to know if anyone has experience riding in that area? How is it in general (weather wise)? Is there anywhere nice to go?
My concern is that the roads seem pretty straight and perhaps a little boring? And the summer is too hot to ride much in the middle of the day I think?
don't live there but spent some time there; once you get out of the city, watch for the 'roos. kinda like the deer here in Texas. they will f*ck you up if you hit one. seasons are the opposite of here, winter here, summer there.last note, beware the flies; slept out a few timesand the first time, waking up, i thought i was having a dream, hearing buzzing noises and feeling crawlies onmy face. i woke up to flies covering my face, getting any moisture they could from my eyes, nose, lips, anything that had moisture; beware the flies. climate is similar to southern Ca., coastal desert. nice along the coast and hotter the farther inland you go.
